The first Central Minnesota KidSing Children's Music Festival and Workshop was held at St. Cloud State University on October 25, 2008. The festival brought together 75 young people from the Central Minnesota region to spend a day singing together with choristers from The St. John's Boys' Choir and the SCSU Cantabile Girls' Choir. Over 200 young people participated in the days events, culminating in a final concert presentation to parents and music teachers on Center Stage.
