JV departs for South Dakota

The Junior Varsity Choir of The St. John's Boys' Choir departed for their 2009 Summer Tour to Sioux Falls and Rapid City, SD. Parents stood on the Abbey steps and waved goodbye to their kids, many of whom were embarking on their first trip with the choir. Over the next 7 days the boys will engage in a choral exchange with the Singing Boys of Sioux Falls and visit historic sites such as Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. Accompanying the boys are Mr. Horner (conductor), Mr. Fujii (accompanist), Ms. Weber (executive director), Mr. Kleespie (programs director) and Mr. Loehr (music assistant).
