Student workers (left to right) Eric Loehr, Angi Klaverkamp, Mario Camara Rebolledo and Sam Fujii gain experience in working with and teaching choir members through college employment programs. They teach music theory and assist with music rehearsals and sectionals. Eric and Angi are both graduates of Cathedral High School in St. Cloud and are in their first year of studies at CSB/SJU. Eric, a SJBC alum and founding member of the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota, will be working as an assistant to both artistic directors, leading sectionals and voice lessons. Angi will be working as an office assistant, aiding the Executive Director in choir operations. She will be working alongside Mario, who hails from Mexico City and is a sophomore studying Computer Science and German. Sam Fujii visited the campus of SJU first as a member of the Golden Gate Boys’ Choir. The California native is now in his freshman year at SJU, studying vocal performance and will be accompanying the Junior Varsity Choir. |
