Tour Information

Touring is an essential part of the SJBC experience. The opportunity to engage in travel with the choir is written directly in to the organization's mission statement and is also one of the foundational pillars as established by the Board of Directors. Touring not only offers additional performance opportunities, but increases cultural awareness and independence.

Touring begins at the Junior Varsity Choir level where the boys engage in a 5-7 day domestic tour. These tours usually involve performances for schools and churches as well as occasional public concerts. As boys progress to the Concert Choir, they extend their travel experience with a 12-14 day tour. The Concert Choir usually alternates between domestic and international tours, ensuring that boys embark on one or two international tours during their time with the choir.
